  • Individual Relationship Therapy

Individual relationship therapy can be employed when you desire a loving relationship where you can be yourself, accept and respect each other, and feel a genuine connection. At the moment, this may not be happening. Perhaps you attract people who are unwilling or unable to commit, or maybe you feel quickly claimed. Or you might be afraid of getting hurt.

Individual relationship therapy is also suitable if you are in a relationship but your partner does not want to attend therapy with you. You may have doubts about your current relationship. Sometimes it’s better to first explore why you are not happy in your current relationship. Afterward, it is also possible to continue together with couple's therapy. It may also be the case that you have fallen in love with someone else and want to explore what that means for you.

Together, we will investigate what is holding you back from happiness in love. Often, we are unaware of the mechanisms we have developed to protect ourselves from pain and sadness. When you become aware of these blockages, you can learn to form a genuine connection with a partner and choose the partner who truly fits you.

  • Couple's Therapy

Couple’s therapy is suitable if both of you feel that the relationship isn’t going the way you would like. You may find yourselves trapped in the same negative patterns. There might be a lot of irritation, arguments, or perhaps you have hurt each other (a lot). Sometimes, these are irritations over seemingly trivial matters. Maybe your intimacy has changed, and you hardly do fun things together anymore. Or your relationship has turned into a ‘business’ after having children. There may also be issues with (in-laws) that put pressure on your relationship.

Loving partners can deeply wound each other in old hurts without being aware of it. Often, the person you love is the one who touches your “bruises,” which often originated in your youth. You will begin to discover the negative patterns you sometimes fall into, in order to break them and learn to do things differently. Even after just a few sessions, you can gain significant clarity about your own behavior and that of your partner, leading to a deeper connection and resulting in more joy and intimacy.

In addition to romantic relationships, it is also possible to improve the relationship between parents and children or between siblings.

  • Psychosocial Therapy

Are you struggling with a range of emotional or psychological challenges? These might include anxiety, shame, guilt, jealousy, insecurity, not knowing what you want or what matters to you in life, feelings of loneliness, unresolved grief, feeling that you always have to adapt to others, or finding it difficult to recognise your own needs or stand up for yourself. You really want to do the right thing. But for whom?

Who are you, deep down, at your core? What makes you truly happy?

Are you happy in your current job or career? Perhaps you dream of travelling or retraining for a different career. Or maybe you are wondering whether you want to have children at this stage of your life.

The most important question to ask yourself is: “What do I really want? What makes me happy?”

There are so many choices and possibilities. This can cause a great deal of stress and leave you feeling uncertain about yourself and your future. If you continue making choices that don't align with who you truly are, it can even contribute to burnout. Often, you don't realise that you may not actually be living a life that makes you happy.

At Bloei!, I support you in making choices that come from your authentic self, helping you discover what genuinely makes you happy. As a result, you can develop greater self-confidence and find renewed energy to create a life that truly feels right for you.

“Your task is not to seek for love and happiness, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”

About me

My name is Natascha Maas. I am a registered psychosocial therapist and have been running my own practice since 2008.

Through my own experience, I know what it feels like to be unhappy with yourself, your relationship and/or your work. You feel as though you are living on autopilot, going through the motions without truly connecting with yourself.

For me, this mainly manifested in the choices I made: I followed my head rather than my heart. I had built walls around myself to protect myself emotionally. I didn't dare to be vulnerable. Eventually, I could no longer keep this up, and I decided to seek therapy.

I discovered that I had adopted a particular role within my family of origin to avoid feeling the disappointments I had experienced during my childhood. By becoming aware of this role and understanding how my family of origin had shaped me, I was able to work through my emotional blocks and break old patterns. I became more connected to my feelings and desires, and closer to my authentic self.

Through this process, I also discovered my own mission: to help people overcome old emotional blocks and break negative patterns, so they can create a life that truly fulfils them and makes them happy.
